Sewer Service Letter

Formally known as the Sewer Availability Letter, as well as the Certification Letter, this letter is for all projects that go through Santa Barbara County Planning & Development as well as the County Building Department. All projects in the County Planning phase must obtain a letter to move foward with their County Planning Permit. All projects in the County Building Department must obtain Agency Approval to obtain a County Building Permit. 
The purpose of these Letters is essentially a parcel progress report with potential conditions that a project must satisfy in order to receive an approval from the Montecito Sanitary District.  Since MSD is an extension of the County Planning and Development division, all property improvement projects within Montecity Sanitary District Boundaries must undergo a thurough review to ensure the integrity of the sanitary collection system and infrastructure at the treatment plant.
